Sandboxie Plus v1.0.5 (x64) + Fix
Sandboxie-Plus is a fork of Sandboxie designed to address various problems as well as adding improved functionality. Sandboxie allows you to run programs in an isolated and protected space. This protected space will prevent any permanent changes being made to other programs and data to your computer, allowing you to test, play, and utilize them without fear of harming your machine. Sandboxie-Plus fixes many known issues and security holes of the last official Sandboxie release, adds new functionality, most notably a new Qt-based UI SandMan.exe that is far more advanced than the old MFC based SbieCtrl.exe UI.
Features :
- Program Restrictions: If any of the programs listed in the Sandbox is launched without it, then it will result in a warning. It is a good reminder that the program should be tested in the sandbox. You can further add a restriction, so the program is not launched at all.
- Software Compatibility: The software can detect software applications such as Microsoft office Click-to-run, Windows and Office Licensing Services, Windows Live, and Windows Remote Access Connection Manager.
- Check for app sandboxing: The tool offers an extension to determine if the application runs from Sandbox or directly from Windows. It offers a finder that you can use on any Window to get the details available under the menu.
- Maintainance mode: Apart from these, you can disconnect the sandbox for Maintainance if multiple users use them. Once in maintenance mode, you can choose to install drivers or launch services, and so on.
- Sandbox Features: Each of the sandboxes can be configured differently, with each having its own restrictions.
How To Install?
- Install sandboxie-plus to the default location. Do not change it.
- Once it finishes installing close sandboxie-plus completely.
- Run the patch as admin.
- Apply the patch. After it patches the exe, it will ask you to save the loader, save this in a place where you will remember.
- Once it says patching is done, close the patcher and run the loader. It will show a black screen for a second or two and then close. This is perfectly normal
- Run sandboxie-plus, it will say it is activated. All done!
- Boom! Now you can use the program without any interruptions.
